How we design
Every piece starts as apparel you would choose for how it looks. Then we make it to block the sun.
We design in two lines: Riviera and Adventure.
The name on the back
Every Riviera piece carries RIVIERA in small spaced letters across the lower back, and every Adventure piece will carry ADVENTURE. You can tell which world a piece is from, even from behind.

The fabric
Our pieces are cut from a light, quick drying knit made to block the sun. It is soft and matte, not shiny.
The knit is made to block the sun in every colour we make, and every colour is tested.
Light
A light knit, not a heavy cotton hoodie or tee.
Quick drying
It dries quickly, so you can keep it on in the heat.
Soft and matte
It looks and feels like everyday apparel, not a sports top.
Every colour
Ecru, Sand, Terracotta and Navy, each one made to block the sun and each one tested.
How we test
Every sample goes through seven checks in Manila before a run is made.
Our own fabric, in our own colours, goes to an accredited lab for testing under the Australian and New Zealand standard.
When a run arrives, we check it against the approved samples before anything ships.
We publish the lab report on this site the day it arrives. Until then we say only what we can show: made to block the sun.

Women’s and men’s cuts
Every piece comes in a women’s cut and a men’s cut, or in one unisex fit where the size chart says so.
- Sun Tee
- A women’s cut, slightly fitted with a set in shoulder, XS to L. A men’s cut, boxy with a dropped shoulder, XS to XL.
- Sun Hoodie
- One boxy, unisex cut, XS to XL. Women usually take one size down.
- Sun Sleeves
- One fit for women and men, sized by the upper arm: S/M or L/XL.
- The Sunset
- The Sun Tee in either cut, with a pair of Sun Sleeves.
Made to order
We make small runs against pre orders, so nothing is made on a guess, and we restock only what sells.
Ships from 19 November, by 30 November at the latest.
If an order cannot ship by 30 November, we tell you by email and you can cancel for a full refund.
