Played in full sun
Football is played outside almost everywhere, and in much of the world it is played in strong sun for most of the year. Junior games and academy sessions fill weekend mornings, amateur leagues often kick off in the early afternoon, and tournaments run back to back from breakfast until the light goes.
A player on the pitch for a full match spends around ninety minutes in the open, and a training session with a warm up, drills and a game is often longer. Coaches, substitutes and parents stand on the touchline for just as long, usually with nothing overhead.
Why cover matters
Most match jerseys are made to be as light as possible, and many use open mesh panels across the back and sides. Hold one up to the sun and you can often see the light come through. That suits an evening game under floodlights far better than a midday kick off in the heat.
Our football jersey uses a tight knit with no open mesh where the sun hits, in a short sleeve or a long sleeve cut. Squads that train in the middle of the day can choose long sleeves for training and short sleeves for matches, and players who like short sleeves can add Sun Sleeves.

Short sleeves or long sleeves for football?
Both are the same tight knit. Long sleeves cover more of the arm for training in strong sun, short sleeves suit match days, and Sun Sleeves add cover for anyone who wants it. You can order both in one design.
Can you add our sponsors and league badges?
Yes. Sponsors, badges, names and numbers are printed into the fabric with your colours and crest, so they do not crack or peel. Send us the files with your request.
Do you make football kits for junior teams?
Yes. Youth sizes run from S to XL and adult sizes from XS to 3XL, so juniors, coaches and parents can share one design, with sizes mixed within the minimum of 10 pieces.
